Open to ALL MGs (and MG-engined cars) from 1924 on, with Classes planned for Pre-War, T-Series, A/B, C/BV8, Midgets, Saloons, MGF & more, this is a unique chance to drive your MG on a complete, original 1950s rally route. In July 1958 this one-off rally, run by the same team as legendary MG playgrounds Liège-Rome-Liège and Liège-Sofia-Liège, saw competitors thrash tiny engines for 2000 miles over mountain pass after mountain pass in search of glory, for 64hours with just one 8hr stop. In 2020, MG drivers will enjoy the same route over 11 days: Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, including famous passes such as Vrsic (above), Pordoi, Stelvio and Gavia, with a day off mid-event in stunning Ljubljana and a celebration in the Piazza Loggia in Brescia, with top hotels, fun special tests, fascinating visits, mechanic back-up – and the chance for the competitive to win superb trophies.
The rally follows our unique and much-loved formula of touring combined with an element of competition that is addictive and huge fun. No special equipment or past experience is needed and standard cars often do better than highly-tuned ones.
