After a year of disruption for so many people, the Land Rover Legends team are excited to announce a return for 2021. Making up for the disappointment of the 2020 postponement, the third edition of Land Rover Legends now takes place at Thruxton Circuit in Hampshire, with a Summer date of 12th and 13th June. This famous venue has already successfully run a number of Covid compliant events, ensuring a safe and enjoyable visitor experience, with the added bonus of the event sitting alongside the Thruxton Historic race meeting, also taking place that weekend. Land Rover Legends tickets will be valid for the Thruxton Historic at no extra charge, providing even more entertainment for enthusiasts and the whole family.
Land Rover Legends at the Thruxton Historic will take place in its own Covid compliant area of the historic WW2 airfield that once was RAF Thruxton. The venue offers extensive visitor facilities, including the new Thruxton Centre, a dedicated campsite, a kart track, a skid pan – and a superb 4×4 course on site, which will be open throughout the weekend.
Land Rover Legends is the ultimate show for Land Rover enthusiasts, showcasing the very best examples of the marque, including several rare and unusual vehicles from the Dunsfold Collection, a founding partner of the event. The 2021 edition includes unique feature displays, the leading Land Rover clubs, the National Land Rover Awards, an exclusive Land Rover parade on the race circuit, specialist exhibitors and traders –and an unmatched atmosphere from the Thruxton Historic race meeting happening on the circuit over the same weekend.

The 2021 Awards will also see the presentation at the Thruxton Historic weekend of the Best Club Award (sponsored by Land Rover Monthly magazine) and the Brian Bashall Memorial Award, made in memory of the founder of the Dunsfold Collection.
A welcome to all Land Rover clubs and owners
Land Rover Legends is all about a passion for the Vehicles, the People, the Stories – and a shared enthusiasm. Land Rover clubs play a huge part in that passion and are now invited to register for a reserved plot in the club zone, along with a special ticket offer. Organisers will also be asking for those owners with particularly notable vehicles to apply to join the ‘Legends Line Up!’ display feature, located centrally in the show area, and all visitors arriving in a Land Rover will be offered parking on arrival in the dedicated Land Rover parking area, where every Land Rover can be part of the show.
Land Rovers racing to the rescue
With the Thruxton Historic race meeting running alongside Land Rover Legends, visitors will also need to keep an eye out for some special Land Rovers playing their part in the running of the race meeting, providing recovery and shuttle services for drivers and officials, as well as taking part in the Land Rover parade on the start/finish line!
Richard Grafton, Land Rover Legends Event Director, said, “With 2021 still likely to present many challenges for event organisers, we are delighted to be working with the highly experienced Thruxton team to put on a safe and welcoming event at such an exciting venue. We have all been missing the opportunity to get together and share our passion for Land Rovers, and we are planning to make this the great reunion of the year. We will be firming up the details as 2021 unfolds but for now, I would urge everyone to save the date and book with confidence, safe in the knowledge that should visitors not be allowed at the event due to Covid-19 restrictions, they will have the option for a full refund or to transfer their tickets.”
Advance discounted tickets are available now, giving you two shows for the price of one! Full details can be found at www.landroverlegends.com.
