DESCRIPTION:This is one of the biggest days in the calendar for Land Rover fans and families. The Show boasts hundreds of these cars and also gives you the opportunity to explore the fabulous car collection inside the Museum.\nThis year we’re excited to welcome Land Rover Experience who will be giving you the chance to experience their Land Rovers in action. We will have live commentary throughout the weekend\, talking to the clubs and hearing all about the stories behind their cars. There is also a selection of trade stands where you will find clothing\, models\, tools and accessories. Inside the Museum\, you will find plenty of Land Rovers on display including our showpiece ‘HUE 166’ AKA Huey – the first Land Rover ever produced. You won’t find that photo opportunity anywhere else in the world! \nFamilies will enjoy the ‘Mini Me’ kids trial with mini vintage and modern Land Rovers touring around the show arena. There will be live music from vintage singing trios ‘My Favourite Things’ on Saturday and ‘The Barn-Ettes’ on Sunday. Head to the Junction 12 Café for hot meals\, sweet treats and refreshments or enjoy ice creams and burgers outside. \nDon’t take our word for it\, recent visitors said: \n– “First class day\, highly recommend”\n– “Quite amazed at the variety of Land Rovers! The Museum itself was excellent”\n– “A very enjoyable day out!”

If you\, your parents or grandparents owned a Mini or Metro\, the displays are sure to bring back a sense of nostalgia. Head to the Junction 12 Café for hot meals\, sweet treats and refreshments or enjoy ice creams and burgers outside. \nTickets for the show include entry to the Museum and Collections Centre\, giving you the chance to see over 350 more cars from our fabulous collection. Inside\, you will find some of the historically important milestone vehicles such as the last Rover 100 produced\, signed by almost 1200 people involved in Metro production. Also there will be the very first Mini ‘621 AOK’\, the very last classic Mini produced at Longbridge ‘X411 JOP’ and the Monte Carlo Rally winning Minis of 1964\, 1965 and 1967 for you to see. \nDon’t take our word for it\, recent visitors said: \n– “Great show overall in difficult circumstances. DESCRIPTION:This is a rare opportunity to reminisce and remember the heavy vehicles that used to roll along our roads. The display ranges from vans such as Ford Transits\, Morris Minors and J Types\, to lighter lorries from Austin\, Bedford\, Dodge and Ford Thames to heavier lorries such as AECs\, Atkinsons\, ERFs\, Fodens and Leylands.\nDon’t miss the large commercial vehicle related autojumble where a bargain or vital spare can be found as well as photos\, brochures or models of your favourite commercials. \nTickets for the show include entry to the Museum and Collections Centre\, giving you the chance to see over 350 more cars from our fabulous collection. Inside will be two large Indoor Model Shows\, organised by Ashley Coghill and the National Association of Road Transport Modellers. Over 160 tables will showcase kit and scratch-built models of commercial vehicles and landscapes. \nEvery year\, we are joined by clubs such as the Foden Society\, Morris Commercial Club\, Morris J Type Register\, Post Office Vehicle Club\, REVS and the Transit Van Club. If you prefer to be able to walk around and study your classic cars\, then the “Pride of Brooklands” Concours may be the thing for you\, including casting your vote for the “Visitors Choice” award on the day. \nBoth days will feature festival fun on the Museum site\, with live music\, car and motor club displays and family entertainment.

DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate a staggering legacy of motorcycling at Brooklands matched with the best of today’s bikes and super-machines. Motorcycle enthusiasts\, no matter what they ride or from what era\, all are welcome to come and enjoy the spectacle.\nThe event will showcase some of the historic bikes in the Museum collection\, including bikes featured on Yesterday channel’s Secrets of the Transport Museum\, many of which will be demonstrated by the Brooklands Motorcycle Team. Alongside them\, latest models will be on display. \nTest Hill will provide a unique opportunity to see how the pre-War race bikes fare against today’s super-machines. Always a crowd-pleaser\, the Hill was constructed in 1909 to test acceleration and power and has been in use for events since the Museum opened. Bookings will be open on the day to allow people to take their own bikes up Test Hill during the session.

We will have a ‘Show and shine’ open to any vehicle on display. Don’t forget\, Museum entry is included with the show ticket giving you access to see over 350 classic British cars in the Museum.\n2022 marks 60 years of the Austin/Morris 1100/1300 and we want to celebrate by getting as manyAustin/Morris 1100/1300s to join us. We are also holding the Austin Counties National Rally at the Museum this year where they hope to have over 40 cars to see. \nIn addition\, we also welcome the TR Drivers Club who will hold their National Rally here on Saturday 9 July. \nDon’t take our word for it\, recent visitors said: \n–      “Well worth a visit to this museum and any shows\, British motoring heritage at its best.”\n–      “An excellent\, well organised and attended show. It was a great day out\, and everyone I talked to on club stands and in the car park were of the same thought.”\n–  “10/10\, can’t fault it\, one of the best days out I’ve ever been to. The only negative is that I ran out of time.”

Visit the trade stands with spares and accessories on offer.\n2 events & Museum entry in 1 ticket \nTickets for this event will also give you admission to the Rootes Heritage Day\, taking place alongside the Old Ford Rally on Sunday 17 July. We’re celebrating all kinds of Classic Rootes Group vehicles – whether that’s the pre-70s cars such as Hillmans\, Humbers\, Singers and Sunbeams or the later Chryslers\, Simcas and Talbots. Don’t forget the commercial vehicles such as Commers\, Karriers and Kew Dodges too. \nYou have the added bonus of seeing over 350 more cars inside the Museum including a 1955 Ford Popular\, a 1968 Ford Anglia and Lady Penelope’s FAB1 Ford from the 2004 Thunderbirds film.
