RETRO CARFEST is the new addition to the family! Taking place at Bicester Heritage from 18th – 20th June, Retro CarFest will take you… we’re going to take you back to simpler times – when cars were cooler, sweets were tastier, flares were wider, video games were harder and everyone wanted a chopper!
With music from living music legends to some of the best tribute bands… who doesn’t fancy a bit of Noasis and Fleetwood Bac? Plus a roller disco, a vinyl fair…and all things collectible… toys, games, gadgets and gizmos… remember the Athena posters we all had on our walls?
We’re going to take you on a proper journey through time… with cars that you grew up with… cars that you dreamt about owning and cars that became famous in their own right! Who remembers Mr Ben and Play School? What were your favourite ads from back in the day? … we’ll have screens showing some of the most memorable shows, ads, pop videos and movies of our childhood!
And then there’s fashion… from the mini skirt to flares and shoulders pads… we’re going to have a people’s catwalk… dress up and our scouts are going to select the best dressed for our catwalk sessions… and if you haven’t brought anything with you, there’ll be loads of Retro fashion for you to pick up on site!
Oh… and if you fancy a step even further back in time… then our Vintage World at Bicester Heritage will take you right back to the 40s and 50s…
We’ll share more information over the coming weeks, and keep checking the website for updates on our line-ups, but tickets for Retro CarFest and Camp CarFest North & South will go on sale at 8am on Thursday 5th November… be sure to put the date in your diary, so you don’t miss out on our 10th birthday celebrations!
