THE LONDON MOTOR SHOW IS RETURNING IN JULY 2021

July 23, 2020

After four years of sell out events followed by a ‘rest in 2020’ The London Motor Show is set to return to the Evolution London venue in Battersea Park from 16th to 18th July 2021 with a special association with Carl Cox Motorsports, a multi discipline team headed up by international superstar DJ Carl Cox.

Alec Mumford, Chairman of The London Motor Show, said: “Having an association with Carl and the team is amazing. Aside from his legendary status behind the decks he is also a petrol head through and through. He’ll be bringing a selection of his vehicles as well as showcasing Carl Cox Motorsport which participates strongly in drag, side car, motor vehicle and motorbike racing. Carl himself is a first-class driver and a rider having clocked up an eye watering 235mph earlier this year in New Zealand”.

Alec continues “The current global situation has shown us what we need to do to prepare for any eventuality and we have factored scalable measures into our plans that enable us to incorporate any necessary guidelines into the show. We have the benefit of a big space in a greenfield site with plenty of room and designed the show so that everyone can get the best experience out of their visit. Having Carl on board gives us unparalleled event experience to draw on”.

Next year’s event will see the show concentrate on technology, electric and hybrid vehicles and luxury brands alongside classics and city cars. There will also be new additions to the show including the much-anticipated motorsport and motorcycle areas as well as live music performances.

“I am honoured that we’ve been chosen to be part of the London Motor Show” says Carl Cox. “CCM have worked hard and our recent successes are testament to the dedication that everyone puts in. I built my first car, a mini, in my parents’ front garden when I was 17 and in what feels like the blink of an eye we’re headlining at the London Motor Show. We’re going to help make 2021 the best Show yet.

Carl continues: “This has been a tough year for motorsports and the motor industry, so I jumped at the chance to be able to support and share my passion in this pivotal year. Letting people get up close with our vehicles and drivers in this setting is a dream come true. I can also confirm that as the show draws to a close I’ll be switching a helmet for headphones and getting behind the decks as RPM meets BPM”.

The London Motor Show has a range of exciting features and activities suitable for attendees of all ages. From virtual reality racing and the chance to meet motoring legends and influencers, to immersive simulator driving experiences, there is something for everyone.

And it doesn’t end when the daytime show closes. The evenings will see private previews, unique Access All Area experiences and music events taking place.

Early bird adult day time tickets will be on sale later this week and can be purchased at www.thelondonmotorshow.co.uk
