Bicester Heritage has been actively monitoring governmental and WHO advice regarding the development of Coronavirus COVID-19 over the past weeks. With a dramatic shift in the global response, it is clear that COVID-19 will have a profound impact beyond our health and day-to-day activity. As a result Bicester Heritage has the made decision to postpone the next Scramble, due to be held on the 26th April, to a new date on the 21st June 2020.
It was our intention to hold the second edition of our Super Scramble at Bicester Heritage on the 21st June, however this event will now be postponed until 20th June 2021, allowing us to hold the rescheduled April Scramble in its place.
The nature of our Scramble and Super Scramble events, attracting more than 6,500 enthusiasts of all ages from across the UK and abroad, means that the postponement of these ever-popular events is the most appropriate decision to take at this time.
Bicester Heritage is disappointed not to be able to go ahead with the original dates as planned, and we know that the rescheduling of both events will be sad news for the many event supporters who had made plans to attend, both enthusiasts and exhibitors alike. However, we feel that this is the best course of action at this juncture and we look forward to welcoming you to Bicester Heritage on the new event dates.
At this time our offices in The Station Armoury remain open and for the foreseeable future we will endeavour to continue with ‘business as usual’. We wish it to be known that the safety of our event attendees, specialists, exhibitors and traders is of paramount importance to Bicester Heritage and we will continue to closely monitor this unprecedented situation closely.
